I can’t find true love. Every time I meet a guy I like, I find out he doesn’t want to have a relationship and is more interested in messing around. Am I doing something wrong? – Eliza*
Sam says: The only thing you’re doing ‘wrong’, is going out with men who don’t want the same thing you do. I’m also not sure what you mean by ‘true love’? Before trying to find The One, explore what you think a good BF is. Does he listen to you? Is he affectionate and caring? Does he respect your thoughts and make you laugh? Write down what ‘love’ means to you. Once you’ve done all that, ask yourself if this is something you’re doing for you – are you taking yourself on fun adventures and respecting what you say and think? Stop trying to find love in a boyfriend; look within yourself first. When it comes to guys, find someone you can have real fun with, rather than expecting to fall into a relationship immediately.
